Jane Raabe is an associate member of Piccolo Theatre. Her early background was in stage management in repertory theatres in England. In the United States she worked with husband Ken Raabe, a founding Piccolo member, as a marionettist giving 400 performances each year at schools in Indiana. At the Piccolo Theatre, Jane assists in costuming, box office and animal husbandry (creator of the horse, cow and soon-to-be-seen camel) for the Christmas pantomimes. Jane is also helping to create future Piccolo audiences by her work as an RN in Evanston Hospital’s Infant Special Care Unit where she has worked for 20 years.
